OUR WINTER WARMERS
We are delighted to have had a very busy Winter, with a wonderful variety of projects to sink our teeth into. Highlights have included a highly innovative 'new media' movie for blue chip giant Nokia, a musical comedy destined for the BBC and a moving human interest film for AXA, the 13th biggest company in the world.
NOKIA - We made a movie about bloggers and Web 2.0, which we shot in Las Vegas on mobile phones. We did the edit back in our studios in Oxford and had the motion graphics done in Lithuania. This was a bit of an adventure, and we loved every minute of it, especially the end result which is a hip film that you just marvel was shot on mobile phones - our next phone is a Nokia!
BBC/Omid Djalili - We worked on a musical comedy - about kebabs - featuring Omid Djalili, who is, in his own words, 'Britain's top stand up'. This was the pilot; the programme has now been commissioned, and is expected to appear on BBC1 this year.
AXA – We were commissioned to create a moving film about what happens when people have critical illness insurance, and what happens when they don’t. The shoot took us into the homes of real people, to discuss their life changing experiences of critical illness. We were very proud of the result, and happily so were AXA:-
"Just a note to say a HUGE thank you to you all for helping us put this DVD together. It looks tremendous. It has been a pleasure to work with such creative people. And to be honest, has been one of the best projects I have been involved in since I have been at AXA. Loved working with you guys – and hope to do so again soon."
We have also filmed an interview with the CEO of Friends Provident, produced lectures on DVD for Reading University, audio CDs for the Middle East, and even a live video dissection of a pig for a medical website!
