Working for Tom Dick and Debbie
Productions
Why
would you like working for Tom Dick and Debbie Productions?
Many
people who arrive at our studios in Oxford comment on the
good “vibe” they get when they walk in –
especially if they have worked for a while in the media, or
in the hotspots of Soho’s studios and edit suites. It’s
hard to define, but we know that it’s important to us
and we believe it’s important to you. So here goes:
We
really care about what we’re making. Often we have to
work to extremely tight budgets and deadlines. We never let
anything out that we are not proud of. Our projects have received
ten industry awards and nominations in the last two years
because of the enthusiasm and persistence of the teams who
have worked on them. That means everybody’s ideas and
creativity are welcome.
The team has a strong
bond and mutual respect. There’s
an ethic of being who you really are. We want to work with
real people, with real ups and downs, and we want to know
what’s really working for them and what isn’t.
We aren’t afraid
of making mistakes, or taking the blame for things, although
we try to avoid making the same mistake twice by learning
and continual development.
We care about creativity, communication and education, and
the values we bring to every production are clarity, wit,
accuracy, relevance and originality.
Principle
Number One, though, is that everyone should enjoy coming to
work.
If you think you would
enjoy being part of a team like this, then we’d like
to hear from you.
